About Apple iPhone XR

Apple added yet another gadget to its x series, this time none other than iPhone XR. With the addition of notch and face ID, X series is a phone of the future. XR is equipped with the latest A12 Bionic chipset with an 8-core second-generation neutral engine, along with an iOS 14 operating system. The device features a 6.1-inch (15.5 cm) liquid retina LCD, the largest ever on an iPhone, and with a frame made up of "aerospace-grade aluminium", which makes it pretty handy. Apple gave ample choice of colours (red, blue, white, yellow, coral, black) with a luxurious look. With storage options ranging from 64GB to 256GB, this phone caters to the need of every category of users.

The aluminium and glass body make it water and dust resistance up to 1 meter for 30 minutes (IP67). Equipped with a 12MP rear camera & a 7MP TrueDepth front camera system this is a perfect phone for night photography. face ID provides you with strong security for your data. iPhone XR is powered by a 2942mAh battery which is capable of fast and wireless charging. The box includes ear pods with a lightning connector, lightning to USB cable, and USB adapter. Apple provides you with 1 year against any kind of manufacturing defects.

The Design

This model is available in 6 different color variants which along with the most durable glasses ever on an iPhone gives it a gorgeous finish. The phone size makes it perfect for single-hand use; it sits somewhere between iPhone XS and XS Max in terms of its size. The back glass combined with the metal body adds a luxurious usage experience.

Build: This is the first iPhone model which is made up of "aerospace-grade aluminum" along with glass on front and back. The company claims that the front glass is the most durable ever. The camera setup is surrounded by a metal rim to add additional support due to the protruding camera type.
Weight and thickness: Having a screen size of 6.1-inch and a huge 2942mAh battery, the device still weighs 194g, with a thickness of just 8.33mm which provides it with a sleek and sturdy look. These features contribute to better usage-feel and exhibit a sophisticated look.
Performance: It ships with the iOS 12 operating system upgradable to iOS 14. iPhone XR is built with an A12 Bionic chipset bundled with 3GB RAM, which is enough for everyday use. The ultra-fast frame speed of the display lines up with the processing speed to give an enhanced service for extensive video games to video editing.

Display:

This phone features a 6.1-inch (15.5 cm) liquid retina IPS LCD screen, which provides an excellent resolution of 828 x 1792 pixels and 326 PPI density, with a 79% body to screen ratio. The screen is scratch-resistant and to take user-friendliness up a notch; the phone has an oleophobic coating that makes the device fingerprint-resistant.

Rear Camera: Apple provided a single 12 MP camera setup with portrait mode, depth control mode, HDR, stereo sound recording, and is capable of recording at two different quality settings of 4K and 1080p. It is perfect for shooting in dim light conditions. The images clicked are exquisite and are remarkably similar in colour ratio.
Front Camera: It has a 7 MP, f/2.2, 32mm standard camera with portrait mode and lighting, capable of 1080p & HDR videos. It is used for clicking gorgeous selfies to face recognition for faster device access.
Additional features: The many other advanced features present in the phone includes Face ID, Accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensors, proximity sensor, barometer, Siri voice commands, and dictation.

Battery

iPhone XR is equipped with a non-removable 2942mAh Li-ion battery, which is capable of fast charging (50% in 30 mins) with a 15W lightning charger provided by Apple. It also supports Qi's fast charging. It provides up to 16 hrs of backup for normal usage and up to 65hrs of music play.
