17. Mindrolling Monastery

Founded by Rigzin Terdak Lingpa in 1676 and re-established by Khochhen Rinpoche along with other monks in 1965, the Mindrolling Monastery is one of the six main monasteries belonging to the Tibetan Nyingma School. The monastery is home to tallest stupa in the world as well as gardens and a Buddhist college. The monastery has a multitude of shrines and also depicts varied arts and frescos of Tibet.
