Agrasen Ki Baoli, Delhi

This is a tourist spot by day and a haunted place by night. Originally a stepwell, Agrasen Ki Baoli has 103 steps that lead to the bottom of a now dry well. It is said that at night, the deep black waters of the well has a hypnotic effect on the depressed and disheartened, making them climb down the well and drown in the black waters.

Situated near Jantar Mantar, it would hardly take 20 minutes to reach this place.

Dow Hill, West Bengal

Located in Kurseong, a hill station which is 30kms away from Darjeeling, this place is renowned for its spookiness. Woodcutters who visit the forest here have seen a headless boy walking through tress and vanishing after some time. There is a lone road inside the place which is called the Death Road. People avoid it after dark fearing the headless element present in the place. There are also reports of people committing suicide and falling sick after a visit to Dow Hill.

Arrive at Bagdogra and ride to New Jaipalguri railway station. From there you can take a train to Kurseong – which is one of the stops on the Darjeeling railway line.
