Adidas got a Football world cup boost as it sold a record number of jerseys linked to the event. This fueled a 10% rise in Adidas shares which is the biggest rise since March. “The company saw enormous growth in North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Russia, and have calculated 10% sales gain this year. The company also reported a shift in off-the-field fashion category, towards the chunkier versions of designs from the 1980s and 1990s, the famously called dad shoes”, said Rorsted Kasper, Chief Executive of Nike.
