On Wednesday, Air India – the flag carrier airline of India announced that it would introduce new domestic and international flights from next month. Reportedly, this change comes in as a solution to meet the heavy travel demands during the summer vacation. The airlines also said that it is planning to offer the passengers additional 3500 seats per week on its Mumbai – Dubai – Mumbai and Delhi – Dubai – Delhi route from June 1, 2019 and June 2, 2019 respectively. Air India will operate two new flights by using its B787 Dreamliner aircraft on the route connecting Delhi and Dubai. Air India also stated that they will offer on sale one-way Economy class promotional fare of Rs. 7777 (all inclusive) from Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai. This offer will be valid for travel up to July 31, 2019. While the airline plans to introduce new flights on international routes, it will also increase the number of flights that commute within the nation. The domestic routes that will experience this increase connect Delhi to Bangalore, Delhi to Amritsar, Chennai to Ahmedabad, Chennai to Kolkata, Delhi to Vadodara and Mumbai to Vizag.
