AirAsia Introduces Cadet Pilot Programme

AirAsia India has associated with New Zealand Air Academy and Harrison Omniview Consulting to introduce its Cadet Pilot Programme. This course will be conducted for a period of 18-24 months. To be eligible, the aspiring candidates will be required to undergo a rigorous screening process with the partners. Capt. Manish Uppal, Head of Operations at AirAsia India said, ‘With the rising demand for pilots in India, we are delighted to launch our Cadet Pilot Program to welcome the next generation of pilots to our family of Allstars. We have always stood by our mission, “Now everyone can fly,” and with the launch of this program, we are giving this platform to everyone who aspires to be a pilot for which we also have flexible financing options available at very affordable rates through HDFC bank.’ According to reports, AirAsia India has predicted a tremendous growth for the company in the coming years.
