One of India’s largest telecom services provider, Airtel has announced two new recharge plans for prepaid users. The data packs are priced at Rs.48 and Rs.98 and offer 3GB and 6GB data, respectively. Both the plans come with a validity of 28 days and offer 10 free local and national SMS. While the updated plans are not available on Airtel’s official website as of now, the subscribers can find them on all third-party recharge websites or apps like Paytm.
The plans have been especially designed for users looking for budget-friendly data packages and do not have much daily usage. Earlier this month, the operator also introduced a prepaid plan for first-time Airtel users. The plan is priced at Rs.248 and provides data benefits of 1.4GB per day, unlimited local, STD, and roaming voice calls, along with 100 SMS messages per day for 28 days. The company is continually introducing such plans to fight the tough-competition arising from other telecom operators like Jio, BSNL, and Vodafone-Idea.
