Amazon has introduced a monthly subscription plan of Rs 129 for its Amazon Prime service. Till now users had only got the option of paying for a one-year subscription. This is seen as a move to shrug off the possibility of reluctance on part of consumers to commit a bigger amount of money for one year. The latest offer is sure to grab the attention of consumers. Amazon also plans to tie up with some telecommunication companies such as Vodafone and Airtel wherein the telcos will offer their postpaid customers a one year long Amazon Prime membership for free.
