Australia’s largest fashion retailer, Cotton On has entered the Indian market. The retailer is now available on the online platform Myntra. The brand aims to compete with the current leaders in the Indian market like Forever21 and H&M. Cotton On also plans to open its flagship store in either Delhi or Mumbai by the end of 2020. This brand is being launched by AVS Global Network – a retailer of global fashion brands that focusses on online retail. The retailer has successfully managed to seek the exclusive contract of a year and a half with other digital retail platforms like Flipkart and Jabong where it would be selling the products. Cotton On has eight other brands that will soon make an entry into the Indian market and grow the number of its global stores offline up from the present 1500. This move has been taken by AVS to expand the apparel market in India.
