9. Scuba Diving
If you love to explore marine life then scuba diving is best for you. If you are not good at diving, you can take a discovery drive at PADI dive centres. It is a wonderful experience to explore many sea creatures like lobsters, sea horses, crabs, eels and big fishes. For scuba diving you can visit many places like Dhonfanu Thila, Rasdhoo Atoll and dive sites like Orimas Thilat and Christmas tree in the north of Maldives.
If diving deep into the sea scares you, try snorkelling. You do not have to know swimming for snorkelling and a few kilometres into the sea can show you a stunning marine life. Enjoy watching sea turtles and colourful fishes. Best snorkelling sites in Maldives are Ari Atoll, North Male Atoll and South Male Atoll.
7. Island Hopping
For all those who love exploring nearby markets can go island hopping. Though the island is small, it is lined with restaurants, shopping sites, banks and other places to chill at. Enjoy the scenic beauty but due to strict Islamic religious codes in place, short dresses are not allowed. Those who don’t want to do surfing or are afraid of it, paddle boarding is best for them. It is done in shallow water where you can paddle along and see fishes in crystal-clear water. For this activity you can visit Aquaholics in Kandima which is open seven days a week from 8am-6pm. We suggest that you do paddle-boarding for one or two hours in a day. 3. Sunset Romantic Dinner
Maldives is the most romantic place in the whole world for couples. Most food in Maldives is available buffet style so it becomes convenient for the people to just pay a fixed price and have unlimited food. Some special places are Sunset Grill which is open from 6:30pm-11pm but is closed on Tuesday. Though the food is a bit expensive but it includes a champagne with a private waiter and a prepared meal on the table.
