One word – Potassium. While alcohol depletes water and important electrolytes like potassium out of your system, coconut water replenishes those deposits instantly. Replace your go-to energy drink with coconut water in order to fight the hangover without adding to your blood sugar content.
Spiked Carrot Juice
Blend some apples and ginger into your carrot juice to make a zingy hangover remedy. Carrots, containing beta carotene, fight against free radicals; apples add vitamin C to your system and ginger makes for a great anti-inflammatory agent. Drink up to say goodbye to nausea, headaches and the general miserable feeling.
Ginger Lemon Tea
Ginger, with its anti-inflammatory properties, takes care of your nausea, while lemon aids your liver in the process of alcohol digestion. Squeeze half a lemon into a steaming cup of ginger tea and you have yourself a steaming cup of a lifesaving drink.
Virgin Bloody Mary
