It has been an Euro Championship of many twists and turns. A whole lot of predictions on who will make it to the Quarterfinals went completely haywire. Even our predictions went out of the window. Giant killers rose to the occasion and slayed teams of high calibre including England, Spain and Croatia who were favoured to make it to the Quarterfinals.
All said and done, we are down to the top 8 teams of the tournament fighting for Euro Cup 2016. Among them are Poland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Iceland, Wales, France and Belgium. One of these teams will be crowned the champions of Europe after the grand final on July 11th. For now, it is another knockout stage with teams preparing for a face off to book a place in the Semis.
Here are the draws for Euro 2016 Quarterfinals with most likely winners from every clash.
1. Poland Vs Portugal
A face off between two teams who have somehow managed to defy odds and make it to the Quarterfinals. Poland battled its way past an inspired Switzerland in the Round of 16 while Portugal saw off a meek challenge from Croatia to enter the Quarters. As the two teams collide, it will be the stronger team on game day that will walk away with the win.

Prediction: Portugal. Cristiano Ronaldo’s men will be high on hopes after a good outing against Croatia. They will look to continue the promising run into the Semis.
2. Wales Vs Belgium
Sparks are set to fly when the majestic Red Dragons from Wales take on the Golden Boys from Belgium. Wales under Gareth Bale has had a dream run in the tournament while the golden generation of players from Belgium are making the nation proud with every game. Wales are expected to play their heart out while Belgium will look to take advantage of its huge individual pool of talent.

Prediction: Belgium. After a 4-0 thrashing of Hungary in the Round of 16, Belgium has emerged as the team to beat this tournament.
3. Germany Vs Italy
The World Champions face a stiff competition in their Quarterfinal match against Italy. Both teams are coming off a dominant display in the Round of 16 and this will be a clash worth the watch. It is Germany’s dominant forward and midfield play against Italy’s mighty defence. At the end of 90 minutes, something has to give in. Who’ll emerge the more dominant side?

Prediction: Italy. Throughout the tournament, Italy has proved that its tactical style of play can outclass any team. It might be the end of the road for the German side in Euro 2016.
4. France Vs Iceland
It is the host nation versus the ultimate underdog. France takes on Iceland, a country with population lesser than the city of Paris in the final Quarterfinal. France comes into the game following its comeback victory over Ireland while Iceland slayed the mighty English team to book its Quarterfinal berth. France will be cautious to not look past the inspired Icelanders who have nothing to lose and everything to play for.
