Fabindia – India’s leading lifestyle retail chain is looking forward to expanding its Fabindia Experience Centers in Tier-II cities. The company wishes to expand the number of their Experience Centers from 13 to 40. These Experience Centers will now be available in Tier-II cities apart from the ones present in Tier-I cities. As of now, the brand has 301 stores out of which the company owns 230 stores. While the average size of these centers is between 9,000 – 10,000 sq. ft., the investment for acquiring this much area is between Rs. 3000 – Rs. 3500/sq. ft. The company has opened its Experience Center in Chandigarh while more are lined up in cities like Amritsar, Jaipur, Coimbatore, and Thiruvananthapuram. Apart from these the company also wishes to open 50 more regular stores in the cities through the franchisee route.
