Your body is preprogramed to handle stress. As soon as you start worrying about something, your brain fires up the cortisol and adrenaline. These chemicals boost your fight or flight response which entails increased heart rate, constricted blood flow and tense muscles causing listlessness. So, the body’s response to stress causes exhaustion rather than stress itself.
Fight The Fatigue – Reduce the impact of stress on your body by learning how to cope with it and letting it go. Instead of going into worry mode, handle a stressful situation with meditation, deep breathing, yoga or just a long nap.
You’re Not Sleeping Right
Sometimes, we do not sleep as well as we think we do. Bad posture, uncomfortable pillows or mattresses and even late-night phone calls or reading can lead to disturbed sleep. If you wake up too many times throughout the night, you are bound to feel lethargic throughout the day.
Fight The Fatigue – Say goodbye to your screens at least an hour before you go to bed. Get the right mattress that supports your body and a pillow that isn’t too soft. Drink something warm like turmeric milk right before you sleep. This will ensure that you sleep soundly and never wake up tired.
