Alliance Air – a subsidiary of Air India has recently started two flight services from Jharsuguda in Odisha. These flights will ply from Jharsuguda and connect the Veer Surendra Sai Airport with Bhubaneshwar and Raipur. This move has been taken under the Centre’s Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) Scheme. The flights that connect these two routes take approximately one hour and a few more minutes to reach the destination. To back this fact, the officials informed that the first flight which took off from Biju Patnaik International Airport at 9:50 A.M. d touched down at the VSS Airport, Jharsuguda at 11 A.M. Similarly, the other flight on the same route left VSS Airport, Jharsuguda at 12 P.M. and arrived in Bhubaneshwar by 1:05 P.M. The flight that was to reach Ranchi took off in the evening.
