Food delivery platform, Foodpanda, is now looking to begin grocery delivery services in Hong Kong. The company aims to collaborate with 100 city stores by the end of June. According to reports, this new service will come with a 30-Minute doorstep delivery promise. Additionally, it will bring daily products ranging from dry groceries, frozen meat to bottles of wine for the customers. Arun Makhija, Foodpanda Hong Kong CEO, mentioned that ‘the company wants to offer both its customers and its 2000-strong fleet of drivers the opportunities beyond delivering restaurant meals.’ The CEO also stated that the monthly growth in the company’s existing business has been exceptional till date.
