Foodpanda plans to open offline outlets for its private brands like The Great Khichdi Experiment, Lovemade and FLRT. The food delivery company also intends to list these outlets on other food delivery platforms like Zomato and Swiggy apart from its own. Foodpanda was acquired by Ola some time back. The move is therefore in accordance with Ola’s decision to scale up Foodpanda as a Cloud kitchen business rather than a marketplace model. The company, however, kept mum when asked about their expansion plans. The travel aggregator Ola said that it will also invest $200 million in Foodpanda to increase its business.
