Google Maps To Integrate With Redbus

Google recently announced many product updates pertaining to the Indian market. One of the updates related to the Google Maps product. Google Maps Go now comes with an all new home screen with convenient shortcuts and turn-by-turn navigation.

Google’s updated Maps service would offer enhanced guidance to public transport commuters. Information related to upcoming stops, notifications such as get off times would be communicated to the commuters.

Google has partnered with Redbus, India’s biggest bus ticketing service. When any user searches for directions in Google Maps, then as part of the partnership, Google will now show bus transportation alternatives from over 20,000 inter city bus routes in 1,500 places enlisted on Redbus.
