Grofers has recently announced that it has shifted its focus from the sale of fresh products to private label offerings. The company has already stopped providing such services in many cities including Bangalore. According to the CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, only 2% of Grofers revenue is through the sale of fresh products. However, the CEO confirmed that they will be back with the same in a few months. The company has also launched seven new brands under two categories namely, Budget and Popular G – Brands. Grofers market disruption game plan includes providing great quality products at the lowest prices.
