10. Zero Mile Marker
Since Nagpur is a centrally located city in India, there is a point in the city which is marked as the centre of India. A pillar has been erected as a zero milestone of India. This is the place from where Britishers measured the place in all four directions by four horses.

9. Futala Lake
Futala lake is also referred to as Telankhedi lake. This 200-year-old lake was constructed by Raja Bhosle and covers an area of 60 acres. The coloured fountains is a major attraction of the lake especially when lit up.

8. Raman Science Centre
This interactive science centre is affiliated with Mumbai’s Nehru Science Centre. This centre was developed with the aim of promoting a scientific bent of mind among the public. The centre was established in 1992 while the planetarium became functional in 1997. The centre is named after the nobel prize laurette the Indian physicist Mr Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman.
Raman Science Centre houses a gallery which displays IT, Fun Science exhibition and a science park which covers an area of 6 acres.

7. Ramtek Fort Temple
This temple is located inside a fort on a hilltop. According to a popular belief, Lord Rama rested in this temple before leaving to conquer Sri Lanka. Hence Rama is the main God who is worshipped in the temple.

6. Ambazari Lake
This beautiful lake is the largest lake in Nagpur and is maintained by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). The lake got its name as it is surrounded by mango trees (Mango is called amba in Marathi). The lake was built in 1870 under the Bhosle rule with the intention of supplying water to the city. You can enjoy paddle boating and row boating at the lake.
An amusement park in the vicinity of the lake serves as an amusement park for kids. The garden’s pavements serve as walking and jogging tracks for the elder populace.

5. Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground
This is a huge ground which is located about 2 kms from the Khapri Railway station. This spacious stadium is attached to the VCA Sports Club. The stadium has been newly built and is truly world class. Many International cricket tournaments take place at the VCA grounds.

2. Shree Ganesh Mandir Tekdi

1. Deeksha Bhoomi / Dhamma Chakra Stupa
This is a magnificent architectural structure with a capacity of accommodating more than 5,000 people. The stupa is built out of Dhaulpur sandstones, granites and marble. The stupa has a towering height of 120 feet.
Buddhism and Ambedkar followers revere this place. The Ashoka Vijaya Dashmi is celebrated with great aplomb at this stupa which is marked to celebrate the conversion of many Dalits to Buddhism by Dr Ambedkar.
