Medlife, the private medical services leader in Romania have announced the finalisation of the acquisition of 90% shares of Bucharest based Ghencea Medical Centre. The Ghencea Medical Centre has been active for the past 10 years in the market. The company has registered a turnover of 8.7 million lei in 2017 and expect to grow at 20% in 2018. The medical services provider has two clinics in Bucharest and Magurele. The company offers laboratory and imaging  investigations, medical therapies as well as alternative medicine treatments.

Ghencea Medical Center also offers medical services in contractual agreement with the Bucharest Health Insurance House (CASMB) in over 25 medical specialties.

Medlife registered a pro-forma consolidated turnover of RON 196.8 million for the first quarter of 2018 which was 34% more when compared to the same period in the previous year.
