Ola, a leading cab company, has recently invested close to $60 million in its international units. This amount will be used to run the international operations in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. According to the sources, this Indian-origin online transport company has invested this amount in its International operations in the past 15 months. Based out of Bangalore, Ola is owned by ANI Technologies. The information about this investment has been sourced from Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority. Reportedly, their investment entity Ola Singapore PTE. that handles the company’s interests in the international markets has also received $6 million in March from ANI Technologies. This investment is said to equip the Indian cab aggregator to be in direct competition with Uber in the international space.
