Grofers wishes to completely move to a 100% private label firm in the next 2-3 years. Reports says that there is a slight shift of consumers towards private labels that accounts for 25% of increase in the revenue for any grocery firms. Grofers have started selling their own toothpaste and detergents and it plans to bet with other low-priced brands. For the year through March 2019, Grofers expects private labels to contribute half of its Rs 2,500 crore revenue target. Grofers is all set for a new transformation in order to make it’s plan successful.
