Oppo, the Chinese electronics company has launched the Oppo Find X to be sold in Europe and North America. This was revealed at a lavish event organised by the company held at Louvre in Paris. The phone comes with a price tag of €999. The price apparently is only for 256 GB configuration. The phone is supposed to be shipped in August.
Before the launch of Find X, Oppo phones were sold only in China, India, Phillippines and some other Asian countries.
With the edge-to-edge display of Find X, Oppo intends to compete with high end handset makers like Apple and Samsung. Find X’s most striking feature is a pop-up camera in place of a front facing module that is snuggly fit similar to iPhone X and other Android like gadgets. However, this feature is prone to mechanical problems, dust and damage due to water. Still, this feature stands out into a bezel less display.
Oppo is also in the midst of launching the Lamborghini edition of the Find X phone for €1,699. This pricey phone would come with an engraved emblem along with top notch speedy charging capability.
