The movie revolves around the life of a young student Mehul. One of the most studious teenager of her locality, Mehul (Shubhashree) harbours feelings for her tuition teacher Babaida (Ritwick) who himself is the high school topper of the locality. A calm and composed boy, Babaida too befriends her, unbeknownst to the fact that Mehul believes he loves her. Events lead up to the two parting their ways. Mehul soon receives the news that Babaida has committed suicide. Heartbroken, she carries on in her life. All she now has is their memories together and a letter that Babaida had handed her once. Few years down the line she confronts everything that led to Babaida taking such a drastic step. In the end, it is revealed that she is his Parineeta; his own wife.
