Patanjali Launches Its In-House Mono Carton Unit

Recently, Patanjali has launched its in-house Mono Carton Plant in Haridwar. It has made significant investments to bring its in-house mono carton unit in progress. The unit is expected to give some leverage across its supply chain. A source cited that Patanjali’s initiative will help in controlling its costs, design, innovation, and compliance. The packaging suppliers of Patanjali include Essel Propack, Manjushree Technopack, ITC, TCPL, Uflex, Amcor and more. These units will continue to fulfillPatanjali’s requirements. However, the company’s own Monocarton unit will fulfill 80% of its requirements in-house.

This Monocarton unit is Patanjali’s large-scale investment plan. The unit includes a Heidelberg 106 thermal CtP, the pressroom has two Heidelberg presses – a CD 102 – 7 – color plus coater with UV interdeck and end of line press. The second one includes a CD102-6 which is a color plus coater press.
