Paytm has collaborated with Karan Johar owned Dharma Production to come up with a loyalty programme priced at Rs 499. This loyalty card will give users 25 percent cashback upto Rs 300 for the next five releases of Dharma productions. Also, Paytm has tied up with Uber and is offering 10 Uber vouchers of 50 percent discount upto Rs 50 on rides. Furthermore, selected cardholders will get a chance to win a chance to visit a Dharma film location.

This is an innovative, one of its kind offer by any movie ticketing platform.

With this loyalty programme, Paytm plans to take on its competitor, BookMyShow, which at present does not run such programmes.

The movie ticket vertical was started by Paytm in 2016 and since then the company has registered twice as much growth in 2017.

At present, Paytm enjoys a 30 percent market share in movie ticketing domain. Paytm is experimenting with new schemes that can best allure its audiences whereas BookMyShow is yet to come with such offerings.
