Ambareesh Murty recently said that turning towards the Furnishing Segment was one of the best decisions he made for Pepperfry. In an exclusive interview with Money Control’s correspondent, he said that he was very proud of his decision. Pepperfry started its journey as an e-commerce horizontal player with a focus solely on lifestyle. A year down the line the company tapped into marketing and selling furniture on its website. Murthy further says that if a company wants to tap into some other field it should proceed ahead with the idea in the initial years of the business. The company is known to receive 1400 orders within the first hour of its online operations.
