Samsung Electronics and LG electronics have adopted a policy to launch as many smartphones as possible to give a strong competition to all other competitors. They have already launched seven to nine smartphones until now in 2018 and samsung and LG are ready to launch more in the other half of the year. Huawei, Xiaomi and other China brands have been able to leverage their models which normally come with high price/performance ratios, to undermine sales of other brands in all segments, particularly in Asia and Europe, indicated the sources.
