Subway has announced plans to team up with the digital entertainment network Tastemade to update its menu. The Milford based restaurant chain is looking to tap into new consumer trends in collaboration with the food and travel network.
With this partnership, Subway is expected to take advantage of Tastemade’s network of chefs and food experts and integrate the culinary trends in its menu.
Len Van Popering, Subway’s vice president of global brand management and innovation has stated “Tastemade has the resources to understand what food topics are really trending and are important to our guests in countries all over the world based on their online capabilities.”
Subway plans to leverage on Tastemade’s videos on food trends, cooking methods and novel flavours drawing from its pool of billions of views reaching over 200 countries.
Alterations in menu would be in the offing as Subway’s culinary teams plan to collaborate with Tastemade’s experts to bring out novel food ideas based on consumer preferences.
