How does Syndopa plus work?

Parkinson’s disease develops as a result of deficiency of neurotransmitter Dopamine in the brain. Syndopa plus is a combination of levodopa and carbidopa. Levodopa works by converting into Dopamine which helps in controlling the movement. Carbidopa on the other hand prevents breakdown of Levodopa so that more of Dopamine can enter the brain. Apart from that, Carbidopa also reduces the incidence of adverse effects associated with Levodopa like nausea and vomiting.
