Thomas Cook (India) has seen a robust growth of 35-40 per cent and is expected to see a growth in total revenue over the next few years. Thomas Cook’s VP – Romil Pant said that the international business currently contributes 80 per cent of the share and 20-25 per cent is taken in count for the domestic business, but this ratio will change in the next two-three years. He was recently in Kolkata to promote special Bengali tours in the city during Durga Puja and managers will use local dialects and other languages like Assamese in these tours as well. Thomas Cook currently has 268 exclusive outlets across 30 cities, 70 of which are owned and managed by the company. In the next few quarters, as the count of stores reach 300 with focus on tier II and III cities, it will deepen the company’s reach and will ensure growth momentum. Along with the packages tour segment, customized leisure travel will also see enormous growth, adding to more bookings and revenue.
