Triphala Powder in Warm Water
Soak about a tablespoon of Triphala powder in a glass of water overnight. Boil it until its volume reduces to half. Let it cool down for some time. Drink this concoction in one go.
Add a teaspoon of Triphala powder to a cup of boiled water. Boil it for another 30 seconds. Pour the boiled mixture into a cup and it cool. Add a tablespoon of flaxseed powder and lime before consumption.
- Nimisha Solomen from the Amala Institute of Medical Sciences recommends taking Triphala anywhere between 5 and 90 days. The more you consume Triphala, the higher the health benefits. She advises the reduction of dosage if taken for a longer period of time. The doctor suggests taking about half to one teaspoon of Triphala mixed with water. Take this dosage for a few days. Gradually decrease the dosage to about ¼ the teaspoon after many months.
