She advises the reduction of dosage if taken for a longer period of time. The doctor suggests taking about half to one teaspoon of Triphala mixed with water. Take this dosage for a few days. Gradually decrease the dosage to about ¼ the teaspoon after many months.
  • Do not exceed more than 3-5 grams of Triphala in powdered form.
  • Do not exceed 5-6 of Triphala per day in capsule form.
