Vodafone announced today that it is in talks with Sanku- Project Healthy Children to establish small flour mills across Africa accompanied with the Internet of Things (IOT) to provide nutritious fortified flour to millions of people. According to the reports, around two billion people suffer from malnutrition. Sanku is said to have created a data-driven technology known as the “dosifier” which will enable small African flour mills to secure essential nutrients during the milling process.  Sanku has an aim to create 3300 small scale flour mills in next 4 years with Vodafone’s Global IOT SIM and USB Connect services.
