Vodafone has recently bagged a $16 Million deal wherein it will provide full support services including data and voice mobility in New Zealand. Meridian has selected the telecommunications giant fourteen-month-long bidding procedure starting from last may. It has selected Vodafone to provide services and is a 4-year deal. Meridian’s CEO Neal Barclay said that the deal will help the company in deploying new network technologies that will provide flexibility. He also confirmed that the services play a critical role as it is a major electricity generator and a wholesale trader in New Zealand’s regulated environment.
