Water Kingdom (Mumbai)
Water Kingdom is Asia’s largest water park but there is a lot more to it than that title. If you include Essel World and Water Kingdom you get a 64 Acre large playground where you will make some truly joyful memories. The fun begins with the Jetty ride you will take to the water park and once you change into your swimsuit – it’ll be hard to tell the kids and adults apart.

What A Coster

Meant For: Adults Only
Adrenaline Rating: 5/5
This is what you should start with. One of India’s tallest vertical drops, “What-A-Coster” guarantees a fantastic rush that will get your pulse going. If you’re wondering how high this ride really is, then you’ll be glad to know that it’s a seven-story slide to the bottom. It’s easy to find… just walk in the direction the screams are coming from.
Adventures Amazonia

Meant For: All
Adrenaline Rating: 3/5
This section of Water Kingdom is home to quite a few rides:
- Elephant Safari: Casual ride | Mildly Amusing
- Rock ‘n’ Roll Safari: Casual ride | Exciting
- Serpent Safari: Short Tunnel | Not Meant For The Claustrophobic
The Lagoon

Meant For: Kids & Adults
Adrenaline Rating: 3/5
This is a fun play pool for kids which is spread across 30,000 square feet. If you’re with your family and need a place to let the kids run wild the lagoon offers:
- 4 Family slides
- 3 Kiddie slides
- 3 Thrill slides
- 1 Elephant Bucket – which empties itself at 5-minute intervals
Goofers Lagoon

Meant For: Toddlers, Kids & Adults
Adrenaline Rating: 2/5
Although this area is meant for toddlers, it can be a lot of fun for adults as well. It boasts of water guns, a spinning tray, a tilting bucket, and a splash roof. This is basically a place to have some harmless fun, perhaps the safest place in all of water kingdom for kids. Adults, however, should be mindful that the shallow pools can be dangerous if dived into.
Bratzone

Meant For: Kids & Adults
Adrenaline Rating: 1/5
This space is set aside for rain dances at the Aquadrome – which is essentially a dark room with sprinklers. It also has a shallow pool called Coco Beach nearby to lounge in. This is an ideal place to rest up after some heavy activities.
Wetlantic

Meant For: Kids & Adults
Adrenaline Rating: 2/5
The most crowded area of Water Kingdom, this is the wave pool which is spread over 100 meters. Full of fountains and gentle waves at the ends (and massive waves at the deep end). The area is supervised by Life Guards – which means its best for non-swimmers to stay at bay – literally and figuratively. It’s fun to explore the area to discover the caves, towers and the love boat towards the end of your day.
PRO TIP: Once you’ve eaten lunch, head to the lazy river. Grab an inflatable tube and let the water take you around as you relax and thank god for the good life that you just bought. Anyone who says money can’t buy happiness has not been to Water Kingdom.
