Zoomcar News, India, Jan 31, 2019. Greg Moran, Co-Founder & CEO of Zoomcar, said, “they are in urge of working on challenges face by women in our country. Their plan is to help people from weaker sections of the society and provide access to basic amenities like education, ease of lifestyle”. Zoomcar spread joy amongst the underprivileged of the society, to mark India’s 70th Republic Day. The company gave away bicycles to help the few in their everyday travel. These Cycles were distributed across Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata.
Zoomcar is doing a campaign called #CycleofLove, distrubuted over 500 bicycles to the under privileged families, focusing on girls in the family. They also gave away 200 bicycles each in Kolkata and Pune. The partnership for this initiative was made with Rotary Club. The firm also gave away 92 bicycles each in four different cities- Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, and Kolkata.
Zoomcar is India’s first self-drive mobility platform. It had introduced car sharing services in 2013 and cycle sharing services in 2017. It is headquartered in Bengaluru and operates in nearly 45 cities across India.
