Her Journey Into The World Of Social Media:
Nikita Mehra has always had a penchant to grow her community of followers by inspiring them on various aspects of life. Her interactions range from life hacks to poetic takes on travel and most importantly, every girl’s staples related to fashion and beauty. Niki began her journey as she had an entrepreneur streak from the very beginning. She says, “My mom has studied fashion design and my dad is a hardcore business guy so I think I always had the knack for fashion entrepreneurship. As I grew older, I really started enjoying fashion and makeup and I knew this is what I wanted to do.” Do check out Srishti Chandra’s latest pics.

On Her Personal Style:
“I don’t limit myself to a category but I go for stuff that I feel confident and good in.”
Her completely modern and eclectic style is to die for and the contemporary Indian looks are surely something you can pick up for your next festive occasion. Her looks have a global appeal and are not bound in any definition for her. “I am someone who is very comfortable in pretty dresses as I am in joggers and a fanny pack, and I feel equally good in a sari. I don’t limit myself to a category but I go for stuff that I feel confident and good in.” She takes her daily dose of inspiration by surfing on various OOTD (Outfit of the day) pages and admires Priyanka Chopra’s style in association with her new stylist, Mimi Cuttrell.
Fashion and beauty are what she feels deeply inclined towards. “It is a matter of personal choice”, she says. The choice you make in terms of fashion and beauty is reflective of your personality, especially when there are so many people bringing amazing tastes to the table. “I am really passionate about it honestly. I think if you are dressed sharp, it really helps your confidence.”
“I think fashion and beauty are all about personal choices. They reflect your personality and the only way you can carve your niche` is by celebrating your uniqueness.”
She personally was a fan of designers going OTT (over the top) this year and people following the same in their personal style as well. “Oh, and fanny packs! They were such a rage.”
While interpreting these spaces, Niki believes that they’ll just get more sophisticated a decade from now and everyone will be willing to taking these parts seriously. People will be more certain and selective of their choices and there will be a whole lot of potential for the market just waiting to get tapped. On Her Favourite Social Media Platform:
“The Instagram community is really positive!”
Niki loves the Instagram community because it gives infinite opportunities to meet new and talented people from around the world from the same field. There’s always a chance to be inspired by the amazing work they put up.
When asked what she considers more significant, an idea or execution, she said, “Most definitely execution. I have experienced it first-hand. No idea can come to life without proper execution and even moderately good ideas can look larger than life with great execution.”
