14. Raja Rajeshwari Temple
This temple is located on the way to the Shervaroyan temple. The temple was established by HH Swami Poornananda Giri, belonging to the Tirukovilur Thapovanam Srila Sri Gnanananda Giri Swamigal Parampara. The temple which was built in 1983 is now looked after by Giri’s son V Sri. The temple houses a huge 4.5 feet idol of Sri Raja Rajeshwari. This idol is surrounded by idols of deities like Lakshmi, Vishnu, Rudra, Brahma and Saraswati. The temple architecture coupled with its scenic environment makes it a must visit spot for tourists.

13. Karadiyur View Point
Karadiyur view point offers panoramic views of the Mettur Dam and valley. This view point is located in the Karadiyur village. 12. Sri Chakra Mahameru Temple
The Sri Chakra Mahameru Temple has a three-dimensional pyramid on the temple which looks like Sri Chakra when viewed from a height. There is a popular belief that if the Devi with Sri Chakra is worshipped it is equivalent to worshipping the ultimate force. The white marbled sanctum sanctorum has a semi-circular pit displays the reflection of the Sri Chakra Maha Meru which forms the sanctum sanctorum’s vimanam. It is believed that when devotees throw a coin in the pit and wish for something, that wish is fructified. Goddess Lalitha Tripurasundari is the prime deity which is worshipped at the temple.

11. Anna Park

9. Shevaroy Temple
The Shevaroy temple is located atop the Shevaroy hills. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shevaroyan. The temple is constructed out of a narrow cave. Idols of deities Lord Shevaroyan and Goddess Kaveri are placed inside the temple. An annual festival is celebrated in the month of May at the temple premises. A panoramic view of Yercaud town and Nagalur can be had from the hill.

8. Silk Farm
The popular silk farm of Yercaud is located close to the Lady’s seat. One can get to see the rearing of silk worms. 5. Deer Park
The deer park lies close to boat house. The park is surrounded by a lake giving it the look of an island. There is an overbridge to enter the park. 4. Bear’s Cave
Bear’s cave is situated at a stone’s throw of Norton Bungalow in a private coffee estate. The caves were believed to shelter bears and hence the name of the caves. 3. Pagoda Point
Pagoda point is an excellent view point offering a panoramic view of Salem town and Kakambadi village. The 21-hairpin bends of Yercaud can be seen from this viewpoint.
